A historic milestone for Master G. and the World Class Taekwon-Do family!

Originally establishing her martial arts school in 1997, since 2010, Master G. has proudly served as the dedicated martial arts instructor at the J. Douglas Williams YMCA, empowering students of all ages and abilities through authentic Taekwon-Do.

In September 2026, Master G. achieved the prestigious rank of VIII Degree Black Belt (8th Dan) on the world stage in Kąty Wrocławskie, Poland, becoming the first female in the Unified International Taekwon-Do Federation (UITF) to attain this distinguished rank.

But the celebration didn't end in Poland!

During a recent visit to New York, her Taekwon-Do family honored her extraordinary achievement with the gift of a new black belt, presented by Grand Master Reyes on behalf of Master Marinelli.

This meaningful gesture inspired another milestone: the retirement of her original black belt, issued January 1985 and worn for 41 years.

That treasured belt, representing more than four decades of dedication, perseverance, and service, will now hold a special place at the annual Miracles in Motion Gala Legacy Table, hosted by her nonprofit, A Charity Empowered to Save Souls (ACETSS).

For Master G, this journey is about lives touched, barriers broken, and the belief that Taekwon-Do is for Every Body & Every Soul.

One belt retires. Another begins its journey. The mission continues.
