I’m Master G, Michelle Golino-Crisco, a 7th-degree black belt—one of 3 women in the Unified International Taekwon-Do Federation to hold this title after four decades of dedication. My mission is simple yet powerful: to empower others through martial arts and transform lives. My journey began in 1980 in New Haven, CT. I was just twelve when I lost my father to gun violence, an experience that shaped my deep commitment to building safer, stronger communities. Taekwondo became my refuge, it gave me the strength to overcome personal tragedies, earn a spot on the USA Women’s Taekwon-Do Team, and eventually open my own school in 1997. In 2021, I founded A Charity Empowered to Save Souls (ACETSS.org) to give others the same opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive through taekwondo and self-defense. Since then, we’ve impacted over 5,000 lives, offering free programs to those in need and providing a path to empowerment for people of all ages. Today, I teach, speak at national events, and help athletes reach World Championships. But what matters most is the difference we’re making together—giving people the confidence and skills to protect themselves and their loved ones. Join us, and witness how martial arts can change lives, one soul at a time.
